Telecar IIG
Telecar IIG is a portable system designed for mobile blood drives, making it possible to work with the same programmes, the same database and the same level of security as in a blood transfusion centre. From welcoming new donors to managing the donor-recipient association and running medical consultations, it can be used directly on-site for all tasks pertaining to the blood drive. Telecar IIG also includes a self-directed medical questionnaire, and a donor authentication system using a photo or fingerprint.
Blood drive schedule
With its blood drive schedule module, eHEMATOS comprehensively manages drive locations, correspondents, letters and necessary resources. In it, users can also schedule and monitor an unlimited number of tasks assigned to each blood drive location. Lastly, communication with correspondents and invitations to blood drives can be configured and generated as printed letters, emails, text messages or phone calls.
Donor
eHEMATOS contributes to monitoring donors from A to Z, at every step of the collection, by memorising and time-stamping all associated tasks and workers. During the medical consultation, the software displays all the donor’s information for the doctor to see. It also informs healthcare workers of their next appropriate step, based on an automatic analyses of the answers provided in both administrative and medical questionnaires. Lastly, any instructions left by the doctor to be applied during the blood collection can be viewed by nurses directly in the software.
Laboratory
With its Laboratory module, eHEMATOS makes managing donor laboratories much easier during all three of the donation’s biological qualification processes: pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical. The software is able to configure an unlimited number of tests, manage qualification algorithms, generate conclusions and monitor confirmation tests. In addition, eHEMATOS can handle all types of tests, whether mandatory, conditional, periodic or specific to a single blood drive.
Production
eHEMATOS manages the production, transformation and quality control testing for products, thanks to its comprehensive operational monitoring and management module. As such, the software can record all data relating to the various operations, boasting unlimited and configurable storage. To verify product conformity every step of the way, personalised quality control checks can also be implemented. This way, the system is able to automatically detect non-compliant features and suggest adequate actions to be taken: downgraded, put on hold, destroyed, etc.
Distribution
eHEMATOS covers the blood product distribution chain, from prescription entry to product delivery and assignment. Thanks to its user-friendly and customisable interface, the Distribution module makes it easy to view the protocols to be applied for each patient and each product type. During the product assignment phase, the software is able to suggest the most suitable products for each patient, and check both their availability and conditions required for completing the transfusion. Lastly, eHEMATOS makes hospital stock and blood bank management much easier, by ensuring meticulous product traceability.
Invoicing
The Invoicing module automatically generates invoices based on the elements input during previous phases: it does therefore not require any further intervention. Having considered VAT and the amount paid to the Transfusion Fund, eHEMATOS can be used to directly export all accounting entries and thus update the general accounts. Lastly, the module can be used to create invoices upon request for a list of customers or a specific period.
